The best time to visit Sinharaja Rainforest is during the dry season from December to March and July to September. However, the rainforest is beautiful year-round, and each season offers unique experiences for bird watching and nature photography.

Yes, we can arrange airport transfers from Colombo International Airport to Blue Magpie Lodge. Please contact us in advance to arrange transportation. Additional charges may apply for the 3.5-hour scenic drive through Sri Lanka's countryside.

We recommend packing lightweight, breathable clothing, comfortable walking shoes for nature trails, rain gear, insect repellent, sunscreen, binoculars for bird watching, and a camera. A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking confirmation.

Breakfast is included in all room rates at Blue Magpie Lodge. Lunch and dinner are available at our restaurant featuring local Sri Lankan cuisine and international dishes. We can also arrange special dietary requirements with advance notice.

We offer flexible cancellation policies. Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before check-in. For cancellations within 48 hours, a 50% charge applies. No-show bookings will be charged the full amount. Please contact us directly for special circumstances.
